But here’s what many teachers don’t realize: physical development directly impacts cognitive abilities. Brain development, which is part of physical growth, creates the neural connections that make learning possible. When children engage in physical activity, they’re not just exercising their bodies-they’re building the foundation for better attention, memory, and problem-solving skills.
